Does Pennsylvania Require A ServSafe Manager?

Short answer: Yes... The State Of Pennsylvania, as well as the FDA (Food & Drug Administration), requires at least one PIC (person-in-charge) on the clock during all hours of operations. The PIC is requried to maintain a current/valid food safety certification. J's Steaks & Subs currently relys on the ServSafe curriculum to meet this requirment-- currently employing a ServSafe certified Instructor and Proctor for company-wide trainings, and certifications.
