J's Food Safety management training will consist of different areas of training. We will touch on ServSafes' curriculum as well as the State Of Pennsylvania food code. The following ServSafe Curriculum;
Short answer: Yes... The State Of Pennsylvania, as well as the FDA (Food & Drug Administration), requires at least one PIC (person-in-charge) on the clock during all hours of operations. The PIC is required to maintain a current/valid food safety certification. J's Steaks & Subs currently relys on the ServSafe curriculum to meet this requirement-- currently employing a Certified ServSafe Instructor and Proctor for company-wide trainings, and certifications.
